Health coaching has been shown to improve wellness outcomes for patients in a variety of settings, including rehabilitation. The skills of health coaching typically require practice and training beyond PT and OT entry-level education. This course will provide an overview of the scope of practice, training, and relational skills involved in successful health coaching, focusing on interventions among the older adult population.
