Brooke Richardson

Brooke Richardson, MS, CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist known for her commitment to improving patients' quality of life, not only in her own clinical practice but also through her affordable, clinically relevant continuing education, mentoring, and resources. Brooke has been teaching continuing education courses for SLPs since 2017 and is the founder of The Modern MedSLP, an online platform where she provides medical education, resources, mentoring, and a community for SLPs and students around the world.

Brooke's passion for encouraging critical thinking and seeing the whole picture of a patient is evident in her teaching and mentoring, and SLPs praise her courses for providing actionable ways to improve their clinical practice. She has been invited to speak on respiratory muscle training (RMT) domestically and internationally and has helped several facilities begin their RMT programs. Brooke earned her Master of Science in Medical Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Washington and has been treating medically complex adults in the acute and outpatient settings since 2009.
