presented by Jennifer Fortuna
Originally developed for sports vision training of athletes, the Dynavision D2™ has proven effective for use in clinical rehabilitation for visual, cognitive and physical impairment after traumatic brain injury and stroke, driver rehabilitation, and concussion baseline testing and management. In this course, Jennifer Fortuna, MS, OTR/L demonstrates applications for the Dynavision D2™ commonly used by physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech language pathologists working in clinical rehabilitation.
Clinical rehabilitation is provided by a diverse group of medical professionals each with their own unique body of knowledge, educational background and existing practice framework. As an interdisciplinary tool, the D2™ facilitates collaboration and provides objective reports to monitor progress across professions. Participants will learn about patient indications, administrators, co-treatment and collaboration. This course is essential for physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech language pathologists using the Dynavision D2™ in clinical rehabilitation.
