Accreditation Check:
The OASIS is the center of the care plan for the adult patient receiving home health services, and it is the cornerstone for success for each home health agency. The OASIS evaluation is a comprehensive, head-to-toe assessment of the patient and can be complicated, confusing, and overwhelming to the uninformed clinician. This course will provide the speech-language pathologist instruction on the basic elements and principles required for adequate OASIS data collection as established by CMS. Participants will learn approaches and techniques for OASIS data collection that will improve time, efficiency, and accuracy of documentation and care planning.
