Dr. Naimish Baxi focuses his expertise in the subspecialty of sports medicine, spine care, pain management, and musculoskeletal medicine. Dr. Baxi received his medical degree from New Jersey Medical School (formerly an institute of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and now a unit of Rutgers School of Biomedical and Health Sciences). He completed an internship at the Jersey Medical Center (under the Barnabas health system), and residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. Following his residency, Dr. Baxi completed an Interventional Spine & Sports Medicine fellowship at Orthopedic and Spine Specialists (OSS) Health in Pennsylvania.

Dr. Baxi has been published many times in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation. In his spare time, Dr. Baxi remains dedicated to wellness and staying physically active, and he has a passion for exercise and nutrition. He has run several half marathons, including the New York City Marathon.

Anang Chokshi is a double board-certified physical therapist in sports and orthopedics by ABPTS. He is a digital healthcare expert and entrepreneur focused on supporting innovative technologies and evidence-based clinical pathways to digitally transform the healthcare industry and improve access to care while focusing on both the patient and clinical experience. He has developed, validated, and identified effective reimbursement strategies for digital rehabilitation.

Formerly the Chief Clinical Officer of Reflexion Health (acquired by Smith & Nephew) and IncludeHealth, Anang is currently the founder and managing partner of Digital Healthcare Consulting, focusing on assisting digital healthcare solutions, medical devices, and healthcare service companies in the essential areas of go-to-market and reimbursement strategy, product development, and positioning for clinical approval.

Benjamin M. Keizer, PhD, ABPP, is a board-certified Clinical Health Psychologist with post-doctoral training in clinical health psychology specializing in chronic pain at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium. He serves as Supervisory Psychologist and Head of Health and Human Performance Psychology at the Center for the Intrepid, Brooke Army Medical Center, in San Antonio, Texas, where he provides care for military service members who have sustained serious injuries. He also serves as both a provider and Program Director for the Functional Restoration Program for chronic pain and as a provider and Program Manager for the Special Operations Performance and Recovery program.

Dr. Keizer has been awarded an Army Systems of Health Innovation Grant as a result of excellence in creating novel interdisciplinary programs in a military setting, and his leadership resulted in a 2018 and 2022 Best of the Best Specialty Care Clinic award from the Military and Army Health Systems.

Dr. Benedict Nwachukwu is an orthopedic surgeon and specialist in hip, knee, and shoulder surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS). Dr. Nwachukwu is the CEO and co-founder of Best In Class MD, an expert medical opinion company that aims to improve quality and appropriateness of care by ensuring that expert medical advice is at the center of care delivery. He’s also the Co-Director of Clinical Research for the Sports Medicine Institute at HSS and an Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr. Nwachukwu attended college at Columbia University, obtained his MD from Harvard Medical School, and his MBA from Harvard Business School. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at HSS and his sports medicine fellowship training at Rush University.

Dr. Nwachukwu serves as a medical consultant to the National Basketball Players Association and is a team physician with the Brooklyn Nets.

Dan Rhon is a retired US Army medical officer and has served all over the world as a physical therapist. With 16 years in the clinic at one of the largest and most diverse health systems in the world, he has developed a robust health services research agenda to improve the efficacy and efficiency of healthcare delivery for high-volume musculoskeletal disorders. He’s currently a Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and the Director of the Musculoskeletal Research in Primary Care Program at Brooke Army Medical Center.

Dan is the recipient of a Lifetime Research Award from the US Army Medical Specialist Corps, a two-time Rose Award recipient for Excellence in Research from the APTA, and a recipient of the Eugene Michaels New Investigator Award from the APTA. He has over 150 publications and has received over $23 million in competitive research grant funding as a primary investigator.

Dr. Joanna Horst is a nurse executive with many years spent delivering hands-on care as well as extensive clinical leadership experience. As Chief Clinical Officer at BAYADA Home Health, Dr. Horst is committed to driving excellence in clinical quality outcomes and education while improving care innovation. Dr. Horst is passionate about advancing excellence in the care provided to patients in all care settings, and works as an advisor to MedBridge, helping to advance their commitment to provide evidence-based education for today’s clinician in a convenient online learning environment.

Margherita Labson spent most of her 40+ year career working to advance safe, quality home-based care in primary medicine, home health, skilled home health and infusion, and palliative and hospice care. During her 25 years as Executive Director of Home Care at The Joint Commission, she led the development and launch of the first Certification for Home-Based Palliative Care providers and the first award-recognizing franchisors devoted to promoting quality home care services. She left to continue her post-graduate studies and now works as a strategic advisor to CHAP, as well as to other providers and associations to ensure compliance, promote the advancement of high-quality palliative care, hospice care, and home health care. She is an experienced Bereavement Facilitator and is completing work in Spiritual Direction. Margherita also works with groups to facilitate effective interdisciplinary operational performance and coaches leadership development, strategic planning, bereavement, and spiritual counseling.

Tina is the President of Marrelli and Associates, Inc., a consulting and publishing firm. Tina received her BSN from Duke University, her master’s degree in health administration from Central Michigan University, and her master’s degree in nursing from Otterbein University. After working in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and home care and hospice, Tina joined the CMS Central Office on home care and hospice, helping to craft Medicare Part A policy and operations. She was later promoted to Branch Chief for Medicare Part B. Tina was awarded the Bureau of Program Operations “Bureau Director’s Citation,” has been the editor of three peer-reviewed publications and serves as an editor emeritus, and is the author of 13 award-winning books. Tina continues to review and serve on editorial boards, including “American Nurse,” the official journal of the ANA, “Journal of Community Health Nursing,” and others. Tina is also the Chief Clinical Officer of e-Caregiving Solutions, a web-based education and support system for family and friend caregivers.

Sheila has been in the home health spectrum her entire nursing career, serving in several clinical capacities over the years, ranging from a weekend on-call nurse to Director of Nursing to Regional Clinical Director. Sheila has been with AngMar Medical Services for more than eight years, with over four years serving as their Senior Vice President of Clinical Services.

Born and raised in small-town Iowa, Sheila has called several states her home over the years including Nebraska, Utah, Colorado, and most recently Texas. Sheila has two children, three grandchildren, a spoiled Golden Retriever, and a bossy cat. When not playing at her lake house, Sheila enjoys spending time outdoors and listening to audiobooks.

Dr. Pierotti is a nurse leader, author, researcher, speaker, advocate, and educator. She is dedicated to the continuous advancement of individual health and wellness through the ongoing evolution of the science and practice of nursing.

Dr. Pierotti has developed her practice for 30+ years in acute, ambulatory, and home-based settings. She has represented and advocated for nurses and patient care directly with elected officials, federal and state policy agencies, and accrediting bodies. She has led the development of numerous standards of care documents, national quality measure development, and economic impact studies. She has served on committees with CMS, the National Quality Forum, and the Institute of Healthcare Improvement, and has also served as a reviewer to the MedPac Report to Congress on Medicare utilization.

As the Director for Undergraduate Nursing at Idaho State University, Dr. Pierotti is focused on the dual needs of Idahoans as patients and future nurses, leading innovation in public nursing education.
