This chapter will define restorative nursing. It will discuss the components and goals of a restorative nursing program.
2. Reducing Falls and Preventing a Decline in Function
This chapter will discuss how an effective restorative nursing program can help reduce falls and prevent a decline in function. It will discuss how strength training can impact your restorative nursing program.
3. Setting Up a Restorative Program
This chapter will utilize a QAPI approach to assist you in setting up and implementing the program. It will review who should be involved and the importance of an interdisciplinary team approach.
4. Documentation to Capture Restorative Nursing for PDPM
This chapter will review what is required for documenting the restorative nursing program to capture it on the MDS. It will discuss how a restorative program can impact your PDPM rate.
