Instructor Bio:
Dr. Daniels received her Ph.D. from Louisiana State University. She is a research speech pathologist at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center. Dr. Daniels is a Board Recognized Specialist in Swallowing and Swallowing Disorders.
Her research, funded by the Department of Veterans Affairs, is focused on neurogenic dysphagia. She teaches graduate courses in dysphagia, and undergraduate courses in anatomy and physiology at the University of Houston. Dr. Daniels also provides clinical education in adult communication disorders.
