Shawn Burger

PT, DPT, CSCS

Dr. Shawn Burger has been a licensed physical therapist since 1998, having received his master's in physical therapy from the Loma Linda University School of Allied Health Professions and later earning a transitional doctorate from the College of St. Scholastica. Having been exposed to IASTM in 1996 as a student, Shawn is passionate about IASTM being a value-added solution in rehab. Shawn was one of the early instructors with Graston Technique(R), where he was a lead instructor for over a decade. Shawn was taught by David Graston and continued to advance his experience through collaboration with IASTM industry leaders Dr. Tom Hyde and Dr. Greg Doerr. Shawn has taught IASTM classes for nearly 20 years, utilizing over five brands of instruments and over 2,500 hours of lab-based instruction. Shawn currently teaches for both Performance Health and HawkGrips while owning and operating Burger Physical Therapy, a 14-location private practice in northern California.
