Sean Redmond, PhD, CCC-SLP

Sean  Redmond Instructor Bio:
Sean Redmond received his B.A. in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1990, his M.A. in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Kansas in 1993, and his Ph.D. in Child Language from the University of Kansas in 1997. He teaches and conducts research in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Utah. His program of research focusses on understanding the links between children’s language impairments and their socioemotional difficulties. Dr. Redmond has several peer-reviewed publications as well as book chapters on this topic. His scholarship has been funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). He is an ASHA Fellow and is currently Editor in Chief of the Journal of Speech, Language and Hearing Research (JSLHR). He has also served an associate editor for JSLHR and Language, Speech, and Hearing Services in Schools.
