Instructor Bio:
Melanie is co-owner and co-founder of Pacific Northwest Pilates in Portland, Oregon. She graduated from McMaster University in Hamilton Canada and successfully completed her Part As and Part Bs in manual and manipulative therapy. She is a Master Instructor Trainer for Rehabilitation for STOTT PILATES, teaches health care professionals how to integrate therapeutic exercise into clinical practice, and has taught courses and workshops throughout USA, Canada, Europe, Asia and Australia.
Melanie specializes in resolving complex problems through movement repatterning/ neuromotor reeducation. She is renowned for ability to link assessment with movement intervention, and getting clients to successfully progress from injury to activity and sport.
