Jodi Young, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of North Dakota. Jodi is a board certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association and also a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy. She is currently working towards a PhD through the University of Newcastle, where she is researching healthcare utilization and patterns of care in patients with lower extremity injuries.
Jodi has been involved in entry-level physical therapy education for over seven years where her expertise is kinesiology, musculoskeletal, and manual therapy content. She currently works with both residency and fellowship programs as an academic faculty member. Jodi has presented at national conferences in the area of manual therapy and has been published in several peer-reviewed journals. Jodi maintains a clinical practice in outpatient orthopedics, with a special interest in the spine.
