Jacqueline Shakar, DPT, MS, PT, OCS, LAT, GTS

Jacqueline Shakar Instructor Bio:
Jackie has been a licensed physical therapist and athletic trainer for more than 36 years. She currently works in an outpatient facility and her clinical focuses include a wide spectrum of patients including those experiencing persistent pain, geriatrics and endurance athletes. She received her master's degree in physical therapy from Boston University in 1983 and completed her Transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Mass General Hospital Institute of Health Professions in 2011.

Jackie is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Specialist by the APTA and she is a full-time professor and the Program Director in the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Mount Wachusett Community College, Gardner MA. Jackie is the Senior Clinical Advisor for the Graston Technique® and is a member of its instructional team. Jackie sees patients and utilizes the Graston Technique® extensively with her patients at Central Mass PT and Wellness which is located in West Boylston, MA.
