Augmenting Bone Healing Using Blood Flow Restriction Training
Fractures and bone conditions like osteoporosis can be treated using blood flow restriction training (BFRT). In this course, the proposed mechanisms and protocols for helping patients with bone conditions heal faster will be introduced. This course is intended for practitioners of all types.
Foundations of Blood Flow Restriction Training
Presented by Ed Le Cara, DC, PhD, MBA, ATC, CSCS
Foundations of Blood Flow Restriction Training
Blood flow restriction training (BFRT) is a relatively new type of training, so practitioners would benefit from a foundational introduction to BFRT to identify if it is beneficial for their clients. This course is appropriate for physical and occupational therapy practitioners, and strength and conditioning professionals.
Proposed Mechanisms of Blood Flow Restriction Training
Presented by Ed Le Cara, DC, PhD, MBA, ATC, CSCS
Proposed Mechanisms of Blood Flow Restriction Training
Blood flow restriction training (BFRT) can increase strength and hypertrophy. Comparing mechanisms of strength and hypertrophy during high-load training versus BFRT and low-load training guides clinicians to program effective rehabilitation and training programs. This course is intended for physical and occupational therapy practitioners, and strength and conditioning specialists.
