Diane Vaughn

RN, C-DONA/LTC, LNHA

Diane C. Vaughn, RN, C-DONA/LTC, LNHA has been a nurse for over 40 years. She has worked in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, ICF-MR, and in national consulting companies. She is also an endorsed parish nurse. She served in the roles of staff nurse, nurse manager, staff development, director of nursing, quality manager, director of quality, assistant administrator, consultant, and currently is VP of clinical services for a multistate company, responsible for the quality of care and clinical services and regulatory compliance.
Since 2004, Diane has taught components of the administrator preparatory class at the University of Minnesota. She was the Clinical Practice Chair for two years with the American Health Care Association. Diane has participated as a member of a Technical Panel Expert at CMS. She has presented on multiple topics regarding quality such as adverse events, quality improvement, reducing rehospitalizations, and multiple clinical areas.
