Craig Johnson

Craig is the Chief Operations Officer at Therapy Partners, Inc., where he directs internal operations and support services to 22 practices with 40 locations in Minnesota and Wisconsin. He supports member practice solutions with a focus on care management, outcomes management, value-based contracting, compliance, and reimbursement. He has over 40 years in clinical care, practice ownership, and management in independent therapy practices.

His professional degrees include a Physical Therapy degree from the University of Minnesota, 1979; and MBA from University of St. Thomas, 2000. He is an APTA since graduation and currently serves on the PPS Board of Directors.

Craig has also led physical therapy provider groups in other regions of the country in payer pilots using outcomes and care management to demonstrate the value of PT services designed to reduce total cost of care.

Craig led a team of MNPTA members in submission of a program and received the APTA Innovation 2.0 Honorable Mention Award for "Direct Access to Physical Therapy for Injured Workers with Low Back Pain", 2014. He has presented at numerous APTA conferences and APTA webinars on outcomes and value-based models of care and payment; including the APTA Insurers Forum in 2018.
