This course is designed to help you develop creative and practical exercise options for your patient to perform at home or as a member of your group exercise class. Research on exercise and creativity will be presented as well as demonstrations of actual exercise programs and techniques that you can use. Information on how to develop, lead, and manage a group exercise program will also be presented.

1. Exercise Options to Motivate Your Patients to Keep Moving
This chapter will discuss exercise options for your patient to perform at home or as a member of a group fitness class. We will discuss the research supporting Exer-gaming, Outdoor fitness, and ABC Bootcamp. Additionally, we will list the neuroplasticity-based principles of PWR and identify mobility needs that can be met with exercise.
2. Developing a Group Exercise Class
This chapter will discuss how to use creative, evidence-based treatment options in the clinic. We will discuss the research that supports using dance, music, and virtual reality as well as design a functional fitness program for patients in mid to later stages of PD.
3. Developing a Group Exercise Class: Discussion
This chapter will feature a question and answer session on motivating through movement and a wrap-up of the material covered in this course.
