Following a comprehensive evaluation of the patient presenting with shoulder impingement, problem areas are identified that therapy will address. This course will review how to treat those deficits found in evaluation that are limiting your patient from returning to their daily activities. Treatment techniques to address soft tissue imbalances through all stages of rehabilitation will be demonstrated. Evidenced-based therapeutic exercises will also be discussed to maximize your patient's strength, endurance, and functional use of the involved shoulder. This course will focus on treatment of patients that are not high level overhead athletes, but studies and techniques used to treat this population will be introduced.

Jennifer graduated from the Florida International University occupational therapy program in 1998. She has been practicing outpatient rehabilitation in Jacksonville, Florida, ever since. 1. Treatment of Soft Tissue Imbalance Found in Patients With Shoulder Impingement
Manual therapy techniques will be introduced to address soft tissue imbalances found in patients presenting with shoulder impingement.
2. Evidenced-Based Therapeutic Exercises to Address Deficits Found in Patients With Shoulder Impingement
