When treating the shoulder, it can be overwhelming to determine the right treatment. Having a systematic approach to collecting and synthesizing information to determine the appropriate interventions and vigor of interventions is helpful. In this microlearning course, we'll look at a patient case to introduce the Staged Approach for Rehabilitation Classification of the Shoulder, or the STAR-Shoulder. This classification incorporates the patient's pathoanatomical diagnosis, impairments, and irritability into the determination of intervention.

1. STAR-Shoulder

In this course, a short review of the patient will be conducted to determine care. This course will demonstrate the application of a classification-based approach for the management of shoulder dysfunction. The STAR-Shoulder classification model will be utilized to help identify the best treatment plan for shoulder rehabilitation.
