Vocal tremor affects approximately 1/3 of individuals with essential tremor, Parkinson's disease, and spasmodic dysphonia. To date, the focus of treating these individuals has utilized localized injection of botulinum toxin (Botox(R)) into laryngeal musculature with mixed benefits.
