Accreditation Check:

Occupational therapy practitioners (OTPs) often support students with behavioral challenges and are faced with the challenge of providing occupational therapy intervention within the established framework of Positive Behavior Intervention Supports (PBIS). This course will provide an overview of PBIS and PBIS teams, discuss how OTPs can embed the framework into their practice, and identify interventions that strengthen positive behaviors. This content will provide OTPs with an opportunity to strength their school-based practice and facilitate collaboration with educational colleagues.
