This course will provide the therapist with a complete review of the elements of compliance as they relate to the provision of physical, occupational and speech therapy services under the Medicare and Medicaid programs. This course includes a review of fraud, abuse and laws that govern the provision of therapy services. Learn the regulations regarding kickbacks, the Stark law, and the False Claim Act. Using real workplace examples, this course will help you understand how important corporate compliance is to your integrity as a therapist.
