MedBridge is looking for passionate Software Engineers (Level 1 and 2) to join our growing team. In this role you will be responsible for fixing issues that arise for products and implementing high-value enhancements and requests.

We believe education is the most effective way to improve patient outcomes. At MedBridge, you will help build the platform that improves millions of patients’ lives. To accomplish our goals we’re a highly collaborative team and like to ship features fast.

We use open source technology including Kubernetes, MySQL, Redis, Golang, PHP, and more.

Software Engineer I Responsibilities:

  • Work with product management and development teams to investigate reported issues
  • Dive deep into issues, identify and solve root causes
  • Develop high-value enhancements to many products
  • Create documentation and procedures to allow other teams to work with your software

In addition, Software Engineer II Responsibilities include:

  • Help own and update existing production services
  • Design and implement new services to fulfill business requirements
  • Migrate and build services to replace monolithic PHP application
  • Develop documentation and procedures to allow other teams to implement services faster and autonomously.

Software Engineer I Requirements:

  • Full-stack or backend software engineer experience for 0 to 2 years
  • Desire to own projects end-to-end
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent industry experience

Software Engineer II Requirements include:

  • 3 to 5 years full-stack or backend experience
  • Experience developing, deploying, and running an application in production
  • Experience owning projects end-to-end
  • Knowledge of alarming, monitoring, and analytic best practices


  • Working in the healthcare space
  • Golang/PHP/Docker/K8s/Node
  • Knowledge of AWS - EC2, Cloudsearch, RDS, SQS, SNS, S3, CloudFront
