MedBridge Offers ANCC-Accredited Education for Post-Acute Nursing Professionals to Elevate Quality of Care

Post-acute care nursing solution includes CRRN® Prep Program and high-quality education stamped with Accreditation with Distinction from the ANCC

SEATTLE – MedBridge, an industry-leading platform offering high-quality clinical education and patient engagement solutions, has expanded its complete solution to serve nursing professionals in post-acute organizations including home care and hospice, long-term care, skilled nursing, and inpatient rehabilitation facilities.

The MedBridge nursing solution currently consists of more than 200 courses awarded Accreditation with Distinction by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), and the new advanced Certification Prep Program for the CRRN® exam.

“We are excited to expand our post-acute care offerings with our nursing curriculum to help drive clinical and financial improvements in a growing number of healthcare organizations,” said Andrew Mickus, Chief Content Officer at MedBridge. “By adding accredited courses, including the CRRN® Prep Program, nursing professionals have access to the highest-quality education needed to improve quality of care and outcomes. Investing in staff leads organizations to better staff retention and quality ratings.”

Accreditation with Distinction distinguishes organizations that demonstrate quality and excellence in the design and delivery of their continuing education curriculum for nursing. The recognition signifies that every MedBridge nursing course is accredited in all 50 states. Only organizations that demonstrate zero deficiencies in meeting comprehensive, evidence-based criteria achieve Accreditation with Distinction—MedBridge joins just 20 percent of other providers with this honor.

The accredited CRRN® Certification Prep Program is designed to align with the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses (ARN) biannual CRRN® exam. The self-guided program includes 28 CEU courses, recommended readings, case studies, and 300 practice questions divided into four simulated exams. And with easy-to-use dashboards, users identify specific areas of strength and weakness and track their progress through the program.

MedBridge plans to expand the post-acute care solution with targeted educational resources for home health aides, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), social workers, and non-clinical staff by the end of the year.

The expansion into post-acute care organizations combined with our various existing offerings for Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Language Pathology will provide a complete solution for home care and hospice, long-term care, and inpatient rehabilitation facilities.
