Teresa began her occupational therapy career at Pacific University (Forest Grove, OR, 1993), continuing her professional education with a Doctorate of Occupational Therapy (OTD) from Chatham University (Pittsburgh, PA) in 2016. She has spent the majority of her early career in adult neuro-rehabilitation. Now specializing in pediatric clinical practice and early intervention, Teresa enjoys understanding sensation and behavior from a nervous system perspective.
Supporting the parent and family to appreciate the importance of sensory processing, self-regulation, and sleep on a child’s daily life and routines is her most important work. She has completed professional education in feeding and oral motor development, sensory processing, clinical education, and management/leadership. She enjoys teaching and mentoring at all levels, and enjoys communicating the value in occupational therapy on the clinical and family team. She has provided consultation and panel expertise to MedBridge Education since 2016.
