Kim Bennett is the Director of Visiting Angels of the South Shore, a private duty home care organization. She has been a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in Massachusetts since 1992. Kim has been providing geriatric services in Boston and the Metro South region for the past 26 years. Her extensive experience includes Elder Protective Services and Case Management. She served as a Rehab Social Worker at skilled nursing facilities and hospital-based rehabilitation services. These included South Shore Hospital/Olympus Unit, Life Care Center of West Bridgewater, MA and Harbor House Nursing and Rehab in Hingham MA. In 2003 she joined Visiting Angels becoming Director in 2005. She developed an end of life training program for home care’s aides working in hospice. Kim has presented at numerous conferences including the NE Alzheimer’s Association Annual Conference, and the Visiting Angels National Conference. She has provided training to John Hancock Insurance’s National Long-Term Care Managers, Conway Realty Northeast Senior Move Specialists, and clinical staff at skilled nursing facilities.
