How do you decide what exercise and what dosage is appropriate for your patient? Therapeutic exercise is a mainstay of rehabilitation and one of the most effective interventions to address our patient's impairments, limitations, and restrictions. Having an evidence-based framework for determining appropriate exercise given the patient's current physiologic function and contextual factors is the basis for sound exercise prescription. This course discusses a clinical decision making process for therapeutic exercise prescription and provides practical examples of its use. This information will enhance exercise interventions for practitioners of all levels.
